As part of the closing concert of Festival Connect, which explores the rich and at times contradictory legacy of the "Second Viennese School," Nancy joins conductor Ken Lam and the Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra for a performance of Alban Berg's formidable violin concerto. Through the works of Arnold Schoenberg and his two most famous pupils, Anton Webern and Alban Berg, audiences will have the chance to experience how their musical style, rooted in Late Romanticism, evolved through free "atonal" music towards Schoenberg's twelve-tone method.
